Meet the founder, Kanwulia

A creative who has always seen fashion as a form of self-expression, Kanwulia has always been drawn to turning ideas into something you can see, feel, and experience.

While at UCLA, she served as Marketing Director of FAST at UCLA, where her love for building the story behind a brand, campaign, or experience began to take shape. After graduating, she continued growing professionally in marketing, now working as a Marketing Manager at Rockstar Original.

Alongside every role, Kanwulia continued creating on her own—developing concepts from the ground up and collaborating with photographers, models, makeup artists, designers, and other creatives to bring them to life. These projects became a space to experiment, strengthen her creative voice, and create simply because she had an idea she wanted to see exist.

Kgirl Kurated brings those worlds together: fashion, creative direction, storytelling, and strategy.
