Overview

“Open for Business” is the opening promotional campaign for Kgirl Kurated, created to introduce the studio, its personality, and the community behind its vision. At the center, I step into the role of the “SHE E O,” leading a creative office where ideas, fashion, and collaboration are always in motion. The women alongside me represent the creative community at the heart of Kgirl Kurated and its purpose as a space where creatives can come together, exchange ideas, and bring new visions to life. More than announcing that Kgirl Kurated is officially open, the campaign introduces the world I want to continue building around it.

DIrection

I built the concept around turning traditional office culture into the world of Kgirl Kurated. The wardrobe began with recognizable workwear, including tailoring, button downs, ties, blazers, and glasses, but I styled each look with unexpected proportions, accessories, color, and personal details to make the office feel fashionable, playful, and distinctly ours. My “SHE E O” look was styled to establish me at the center of the story while still allowing each woman to have her own identity within the creative team.

I designed the set to feel like a creative office in full motion, filling the space with mood boards, campaign references, papers, coffee, phones, laptops, Kgirl Kurated branding, and projects in progress. The intentional chaos represents the reality of creating and collaborating, where ideas are constantly being exchanged and something new is always taking shape. Through the styling, set design, posing, and storytelling, I wanted “Open for Business” to feel like stepping inside Kgirl Kurated for the first time and meeting the creative community already at work.
