INTO THE FUTURE

YEAR: 2024

ROLE:S: WARDROBE STYLIST + SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT + POST PRODUCTION

Overview

“Into the Future” is a styling editorial exploring a futuristic, Y2K-inspired world through metallic textures, bold silhouettes, and experimental streetwear. The project blends nostalgia with a forward-looking edge to create a visual story that feels both retro and otherworldly.

DIrection

For the wardrobe, I pulled from Y2K futurism and cyber fashion, combining sheer fabrics, leather, metallic tones, utility inspired pieces, and sculptural silhouettes. Futuristic eyewear became a recurring styling element that connected each character back to the larger world of the shoot, while layered jewelry, gloves, belts, and statement footwear gave each look its own identity.

I intentionally styled the models differently rather than creating matching looks, using variations in texture, proportion, and silhouette to show different expressions of the same futuristic world. Against the reflective silver set, the darker wardrobe and metallic details created contrast while allowing the accessories and unconventional shapes to stand out.
